Clara Vanover age 55 of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Higginbotham Cemetery.
She was born July 1, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Lawrence and Elva (Patrick) Vanover. Clara was a homemaker.
Her father, mother, brother, Carl Vanover and sister, Mary Vanover precede her in death.
Survivors include her children, Carolyn Perry and husband, Vernon, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Connie Steele of Tatesville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Shelly Ridner and husband, Vestle, Ashley and Megan Perry, all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Laura Heath and husband, Wade, of Burnside, Kentucky. Brothers and sisters, Lawrence Edward Slaven of Cincinnati, Ohio, Larry, Lawrence Jr., Darryl Ray, and Parker Vanover, all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Michael Vanover of Whitley City, Kentucky, Carol and Pearly Vanover, and Elva Mae Hicks of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Louise Stouffer of Cincinnati, Ohio, also survive.
