We just want you to know that we love all of you. Family is a precious gift from God. I know from Orville and My mothers death that there are no words that can be said to change the hurt that you all are feeling. Please just know that we love you all dearly and should there be anything at all that we can do, please know that we would be happy to do it. We have been blessed to have been family as long as we have and will continue to be. God please grant them some king of peace and understanding. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Love you all Sherry, Tim, Jeremy and Ruth.

Dear Dexter and Family,
As I sit here with tears in my eyes and a heavy heart for all of you, I just want to to know that Bill and I are so sorry. But what a example that she has set for all of you in her life, for you Dexter no one else could have live with you except Sherri before you excepted Christ to come into your heart. Then she open up her heart to those two children that you brought into your marriage, never did I hear her call them her step children. Then you both were bless with your own two beautiful daughters and they were taught that Charlotte and Kenny were their brother and sister. She made it work like a true family is. Again we wanted to share a moment with you during this time and know that we are thinking of all of you.
Love,
Bill and Mary

So sorry to hear about Sharyan's passing. She was my History and Civics teacher back in the middle 80's at the old Pine Knot Middle School and my friend on Facebook. I loved her dearly and had the pleasure of running into her a couple of years ago in Somerset. She was truly a wonderful person inside and out. The family will be in our prayers.

To the McKinney Family,

Sharyn was the first teacher to push for and implement school reform and learning skills practices in her classrooms from 1988 onwards. Her friendship to me and her support for Forward in The Fifth were invaluable. She was treasured for her enthusiasm for teaching and her love for her students. On our trips together to meetings around the state I also learned about her family, the joy she found in all of you. She was as dedicated to you as she was to teaching. While I haven't seen her in recent years, I will miss her and treasure my memories of our education reform travels, our conversations and good times.

With love to all of you,
Peg
