James Curtis King Jr. age 60 of Monticello, Kentucky died on Monday, October 8, 2018.
He was born April 10, 1958 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late James Curtis King Sr. and Martha K. Slaven King.
Surviving family include his wife, Donna Anderson King, son, James K. and wife Anna King of Monticello; daughters, Patience King and Ashely King (Dustin Ivy) both of Monticello; Brothers, Jeff and wife Jerri King of Monticello, Mark and wife Jolene King and Carter King of Jamestown, TN.; sisters, Kathy King, CA., Kim King and Curtina King of Jamestown, TN., Jamie Kent of OR., and Regina Cotton of Oneida, TN., grandchildren, Evan, Byron, Trinity, Heavenleigh, Rico, King, James Landon and Kylee Ann Patience. Sister and Brothers-In-Law, Mike Anderson, Sherry Stephens, Tim Anderson, Wendell Anderson, Judy Anderson and Terri Lafevers. Special friends, Sabra Troxell, Automatic, Miller, Bubby, John, Clarence, Gene, Moose, Ronnie, Cricket, Joe, Ronnie,Brownie, and many more. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Jamie King and brother, Wayne King.
James was a of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Kentucky Bikers Association and served as the Sargent of Arms. James Loved Life. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting, Nascar racing, Kentucky Wildcat basketball, but above all he loved his family and spending time with them. Per his wishes, James will be cremated. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
