Alan Dale Hollars

Alan Dale Hollars, age 63 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Monticello, Kentucky on January 23, 1962 the son of the late Cecil R. and Audrey Christine (Jones) Hollars. Alan had been a groundskeeper for cemeteries, and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

His parents precede him in death.

Survivors include his brother, Cecil G. Hollars (Mary Patrick) of Whitley City, Kentucky; sister, Angela Hollars Pond (Doug) of Somerset, Kentucky; children, Paige Bryant and Bobbie Sue Branch; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Peyton, and Jessie; niece, Krista Hollars (Devan); nephew, David West; and great niece, Taliya Vanover.

The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held following visitation at the Higginbotham Cemetery with Bro. Leroy Perry officiating.
