Anna Imogene Stephens

Anna Imogene Stephens, age 85 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Monday, June 1, 2026 at the Big Southfork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

She was born in Pine Knot, Kentucky on December 28, 1940 the daughter of the late Eugene and Lizzie (Bryant) Davenport. Anna was a School Teacher from Indianapolis, Indiana and of the Baptist Faith. Shopping, sewing, crafting, getting her hair and nails done, but especially spending time with her family were her favorite things to do in life.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Richard Stephens; daughter, Michelle Dodds; and brothers, Kenneth Weldon Davenport and Ronnie Lee Davenport.

Survivors include her son Kenneth Stephens; brother, Lewis Earl Davenport of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Eva Meadows of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Bonnie Middleton of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Colin Johnson officiating Burial will follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
