Audrey Gregory

Audrey Gregory, age 92 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Friday, December 20, 2019 at her home.

She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on March 3, 1927 the daughter of  Harrison and Ida (Godsey) Tucker, Audrey had worked at the Shirt Factory, was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church, and loved tending her flower beds, sewing, cooking.

Her parents; husbands, Earl Troxell and Elmer Gregory, Jr.; brother, Charlie Tucker; sisters, Eva Taylor and Addie Koger; sons-in-law, George Strunk and Eddie Phillips; daughter- in law, Lee (Hoskins) Gregory; and grandson, Dewayne precede her in death.

Survivors include her children, Elverlie Strunk of Stearns, Elmer Troxell (Evelyn) of Whitley City, Patsy Keith (Junior) of Stearns, Penny Phillips of Stearns, and Denny Gregory of Whitley City; sister, Odie Jones of Whitley City; grandchildren, Janice, Marie, Audrey, Mary, Allen, Tracy, Joann, Ray, Buffy, Coy Earl, Douglas, Michael, Edwin, and Daniel; and numerus great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday, December 22, 2019 at McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Sunday at the Funeral Home.
