Barbara Ann Perry

Barbara Ann Perry, age 81 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died Thursday, July 30, 2026 at her home.

She was born in Holly Hill, Kentucky on April 3, 1945 the daughter of the late Earl and Lola Helen (Hamlin) Perkins. She had worked at Outdoor Venture and the Glove Factory and was a member of the Indian Creek United Baptist Church.

She enjoyed dancing, singing, gardening, outdoors, but especially spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lenville Perry and father of her son, Paul Edward Stanley; son, Roger Stanley; step-daughter, Paula Stephens (Mike); brother, Harold Edward Perkins; and sisters, Dorene Murphy and Lorene Davis.

Survivors include her son Edward Stanley (Regina) of Strunk, Kentucky; sister, Maxine Tucker (David) of Somerset, Kentucky; grandchildren, Chanda Myers (Brian), Chasity Shoemaker (Brian), Michael Paul Stephens, Chadara Jones (Michael), Stacey Tucker, and Chelsi Troxell (Matt); great grandchildren, Braiden, Riley (Lexi), Brian Lee Edward, Kyle, Jase, Navy, Kaden, and Kylan; great-great grandchildren, Wrenley, Bentley, Jaxon, Ozzy, and Lily; and a special friend, Faye Hatfield.

Funeral services will be held 6pm Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 4pm Saturday at the Funeral Home.
