Barbara Ann Stephens

Barbara Ann Stephens, age 60 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky, wife of Mike Stephens, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 19, 1961 the daughter of John Frank and Lucy Ann (Young) Hill. Barb had been manager at the Dollar General Store in Huntsville, Tennessee, and her greatest joy in life was being with her grandchildren.
Her parents precede her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Mike Stephens of Whitley City; daughter, Madonna Bridges (Jamie) of Helenwood, Tennessee; brothers, Thomas Hill of Stearns, Kentucky and Johnnie Hill of Huntsville, Tennessee; sisters, Sherri Strunk and Terri Stephens both of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Michael Kinnett, Dani Vanover, Isaiah Bridges, and Hannah Bridges; great grandchildren, Nova Kinnett, whom was her pride and joy, Zoë Bridges, and Kohlson Bridges; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King officiating. Burial will be in the Hill Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Funeral Home.
