Betty Lee Sellers

Betty Lee Sellers, age 80 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Sunday, July 12, 2020 at her son’s home in Waco, Kentucky.

She was born May 26, 1940 in McCreary County, Kentucky the daughter of Fount and Flossie (Bryant) Perry.  Betty was a homemaker, member of the Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed puzzles books and Crafts.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Thomas Sellers, Sr.; son, Larry E. Sellers; brothers, Ray Perry and James Roy Perry; and sister, Lenna Cox.

Survivors include her sons, James T. Sellers (Shannon) of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Gary Sellers (Linda) of Pine Knot, Ralph Sellers (Lindy) of Stearns, and Thomas Sellers, Jr. (Karen) of Waco, Kentucky; sister, Joyce Anderson of Somerset; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dow Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wiborg Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Wednesday at the funeral home.
