Betty Louise Thompson

Betty Louise Thompson, age 83 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Friday, January 31, 2020 at Baptist Health Lexington Hospital.

Betty was a member of Ross Grove Baptist Church, she enjoyed cooking, taking care of her flower garden, crocheting, making rugs and traveling, but her greatest joy was her children, grand-children and entire family.  She was employed as a machine operator for West Pharmaceutical in Clearwater, Florida.  In addition to her parents, Kenny Marian Waters and Nelsie Elizabeth King Waters, she is also preceded by her brothers, Lawrence Waters and Henny Waters; sisters, Josie E. Beatty and Maude Watson.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Stewart Thompson and wife Linda of Sterling, Michigan; daughters, Patricia Honberger of Strunk, Kentucky and Geraldine Bright and husband Michael of Hartselle, Alabama; sisters, Anna F. Techau of Richmond, Kentucky and Rhoda L. Phillips of Revelo, Kentucky, six grand-children and 9 great-grandchildren.

Per Betty’s wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
