Bobby Ray Thomas

Bobby Ray Thomas, age 73, of Pine Knot, KY., passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Jean Waddle Care Center, Somerset, KY. Bobby is the widower of Karen Clark Thomas, he was born in Muncie, IN., on March 14, 1952. He was a member of Whitley City Church of God and loved fishing, motorcycles, working on lawn mowers and a number of different things. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, but his greatest joy was spending time with his daughter and grandkids, they had him wrapped around their finger. He was employed at Brodrick Foundry in Muncie, IN for 26 years.

In addition to his wife; Karen Clark Thomas, he is preceded in death by his parents; Luther and Cora Stephens Thomas, brothers; Homer, Robert and Ronnie Thomas.

Bobby is survived by his daughter; Tonya LeeAnn Thomas Wright and her husband Joshua Aaron of Pine Knot, sisters; Bea Harding and husband Claude of Muncie, IN., Della Kreitzman and husband Gary of Kennesaw, GA., and Barbara Watson and husband Estel of Seymour, IN., grandchildren; Joshua, Matthew, Natalie, Connor, Aza and Mya, great grandchildren; Carson, Isabella, Bentley, Octavia, and 2 on the way. Bobby is also survived by numerous friends, many close family members including several nieces and nephews who will mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 16th at 3:00 PM at the Whitley City Church of God, with visitation from 2:00 PM until funeral services. Brother Bruce Dixon is officiating with burial to follow in the Whitley City Church of God Cemetery.
