BRUCE KING

Bruce King, age 57, passed from this life on February 24, 2026, at his home in Strunk, Kentucky.

Born June 29, 1968, he was the son of the late Barbara Sue Riley.  Beside his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann King and infant brother, Hubert Joy Trammell..  Surviving family include a sister, Kimberly K. Cecil of Strunk, brothers, Shannon Wayne King and Milton Leroy King, nieces, Natosha Burton, Jessica Burton; great nieces, Chloe, and Kaydence, and nephews, Aden, Cole and Camden.

Bruce had worked for Jim Barna Log Homes and enjoyed wood works, cooking, gardening and singing.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with burial at the Lower Cal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 a.. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m.
