Charles Edward Taylor
November 28, 1946 — February 3, 2019
Charles Edward Taylor, age 72 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
He was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on November 28, 1946 the son of the late Earnest and Beatrice (Vanover) Taylor. Charles had worked as a concrete truck driver and loved fishing.
He is preceded in death by parents and wife, Mary Rose (Cline) Taylor.
Survivors include his daughter Rachel Taylor Doan (Chadwick) of Berea, Kentucky; sister, Joyce Ann Taylor Whalen (Jim) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; grandchildren, Crystal McGuire, Dillion Doan (Kaytlyn); and great grandchildren, Alec McGuire and Embry McGuire.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 1pm in the Higginbotham Cemetery.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
