Chester "Boots" Wilson

Chester “Boots” Wilson, age 73 years, of Monticello, Kentucky died Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.

He was born in Honeybee, Kentucky on June 27, 1948 the son of Luther Wilson Jr. and Morene (Bryant) Wilson.  He had worked as a molder in a foundry, was of th4e Baptist Faith, enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and his car’s 1957 Chevy and Road Runner.

His parents; brothers, Dave Wilson and Roger Wilson, and sister, Shirley Lovell precede him in death.

Survivors include his brother, John Wilson of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters, Tenna Hardwick and husband, Terry, Connie Wilson, and Polly Wilson all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; and 13 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Timothy Corder officiating. Burial will follow in the Higginbotham Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 11am Thursday at the Funeral Home.
