Christen Danielle Tucker

Christen Danielle Tucker, age 20, passed from this life on Friday, December 2, 2016, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born on December 26, 1995, at Somerset, Kentucky, to the parents of Jeremy Anthony Tucker and Angela Joy (Meadows) Tucker.  She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Rev. James “Jimmy” Tucker and an aunt, Kim Taylor.

Surviving family include her parents, Jeremy and Angie Tucker, a brother: Josh Tucker, grandparents: Harvey and Donna Meadows of Parkers Lake, Sandra Tucker of Somerset, aunts and uncles: Danny and Cheryl Meadows of Parkers Lake, Greg Fish of Dalton, Georgia, Lisa Hagen Somerset, Angie Ross of Corbin, Kristen Furkin of Somerset and numerous cousins and many friends.

Christen was a graduate of beauty school and worked as a cosmetic consultant at Macy’s Department Store.  She was a member of the Parkers Mill Baptist Church.  She enjoyed working with make-up and hair, reading and hiking.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Darry Hatfield officiating  She will be laid to rest at the Jimmy Tucker Family Cemetery.
