Christy Lynn Goodin

Christy Lynn Goodin, age 43 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 22, 1978 the daughter of Ruben “Short” Perry and Mossie Ridner. She was a homemaker and member of the Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church.

Her father; son, Artman Jay Goodin; and brother, James Fred Ridner precede her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Mossie Ridner of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughter Natasha (Jose) Goodin of Monticello, Kentucky and Natasha's father, Artie Jack; brothers, Jason Perry of Whitley City, Kentucky, Timothy Perry and wife Kimberly, Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sister, Letha “Boolou” Vanover and life partner Gen, Whitley City, Kentucky; grandchildren, Natalyah, Khloe, Trinidad, and Treyson; nephews, Dakota, JT, JB and niece, Martikka; god-children, Lyan Noel and special friends, Tiffany, Destiny and Andrés.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Tyler Longsworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
