Clonia Hale

Clonia (Staley) Hale, age 79 years, of Cincinnati, Ohio formerly of McCreary County, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

She was born May 22, 1941 in Beulah Heights, Kentucky the daughter of Pal and Dovie (Taylor) Staley. Clonia had worked as a machine operator, enjoyed bingo, crocheting, and cooking.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James B. Hale; and brothers, Calvin Staley, James Staley, Edd Staley, Wilburn Staley, Cecil Staley, Arvel Staley, Hoyet Staley, Thurman Staley, Richard Staley, and Earnest Staley.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff Ball (Oyuna) of Fairfield Township, Ohio and Jonathan Ball of Smyrna, Georgia; brothers, Leroy Staley of Williamsburg and RC Staley of Michigan; sisters, Geneva Taylor of Connersville, Indiana and Carol Gerros of Vandalia, Ohio; grandson, Craig Ball; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. RC Staley officiating. Burial will follow in the Keith-Morrow Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 10am Saturday at the funeral home.
