Danny West

Danny Ray West, age 62, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015, at his home.

He was born January 31, 1952, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of the late Alfred William and Dorita (Hines) West.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Colston (and her husband Robert) and Wanda Stanford.

Mr. West was a self-employed construction worker.  He enjoyed fishing, old cars, and valued his family time.

Surviving family include his wife Wanda Sue (Bryant) West of Stearns whom he married January 30, 1971, a son; Danny Ray West, Jr. (and wife Marla) of Stearns, two grandchildren; Danny Wayne West (and fiancé Kayla Hatter), Abigail Marie West, and great granddaughter; Jayce West. His brother is David West (and wife Teresa) of Stearns, sisters; Pamela Duncan (and husband Jim) of Stearns and Iva Dean Cox (and husband James Dee) of Stearns.

Services are as follows:  Graveside funeral at Angel Cemetery on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. David Troxell officiating.  Visitation Monday at 12:00 noon at McCreary County Funeral Home.
