Daphne Loze’s life didn’t come to an end with her death, but began her eternal life to worship the Lord. Daphne passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 49 after a courageous battle with pneumonia, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to carry her legacy of living their lives to honor the Most High.
Daphne was born to Larry and Loraine Loudermilk on December 28, 1971. Graduated from McCreary Central High School in 1989 and went on to earn her Batchelor’s Degree in Business and Early Childhood Education from University of the Cumberlands and Eastern Kentucky University respectively. She married the love of her life, George, in June of 2003, inheriting three bonus children: Britt, Shellee, and Mary. George and Daphne worked side by side, running Lighthouse Physical Therapy, located in Whitley City, KY for 20 years, and loved their community.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Daphne. She adored her grandchildren: Kenna, Collins, and Keegan Loze; Kayla, Norah, and Finlee Holt; Isaiah and Abby Bracken. Was enthralled watching her nephews Noah and Daniel, and niece Megan play sports and grow into amazing young people. She fawned over every animal she saw, had a passion for worshiping Jesus, pouring into young women’s lives, and had an uncanny ability to always have the right thing to say in any situation. Her laugh was infectious and loved spreading it amongst her family and friends. She will have a permanent spot in each of their hearts.
Daphne is survived by her husband, George Loze. Children and their spouses: Britt and Anna Loze, Shellee and Cory Holt, Mary and Jeff Bracken. Her father and mother: Larry and Loraine Loudermilk. Brother and spouse: Bryson and Angela Loudermilk. Grandchildren: Kenna, Collins and Keegan Loze, Kayla, Norah and Finlee Holt, Isaiah and Abigail Bracken. Nephews and niece: Noah and Daniel, and Megan Loudermilk. Daphne was preceded in her death by her Grandparents: Porter and Freda Watters and Mathew and Bernice Stephens, and her beloved fur baby, Chelsea.
