Donald "Buddy" Cleo Perry

June 11, 1938 — October 6, 2021

Donald “Buddy” Cleo Perry, age 83 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Wednesday
October 6, 2021 at the Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin, Kentucky.

Donald was born in Honeybee, Kentucky on June 11, 1938. He joined the US Air Force
in 1957 and retired after 22 years with military honors. He also worked for the US
Forest Service and the Pine Knot Job Corps before retiring again in July 2000.

Donald was an elder of Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church and an active member of
Greenwood Masonic Lodge #903. Donald was an avid carpenter and enjoyed building
anything that would hold what-nots that he loved to collect.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Waymon Perry, Lettie (Perry) Spradlin,
Claude Jack Perry, and Rhoda Sue Perry; brothers, Lee Spradlin and Ray Spradlin; and
a grandson, Joshua Ross.

Donald is survived by his wife of 61 years Anna Marie (Spitzer) Perry of Parkers Lake,
Kentucky; son, Michael Cleo Perry of Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts; daughters,
Tricia Horn (Jim) of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; Priscilla Everman (Marc) of
Forestdale, Massachusetts; and Phyllis Noble of Clarksville, Tennessee; brothers, Dick
Perry of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Glenn Perry, Jr. of Parkers Lake, Kentucky;
sisters, Ellen Goodin of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; Sue Smith of Parkers Lake, Kentucky;
and Shirley Biehler of Clyde, Ohio.

Donald was proud of his children and his “hoard” of grandchildren and great-
grandchildren -- grandchildren Jim Horn, Jr., Melissa Kanozek, Catherine Horn, Gregory
Horn, Jerred Ross, Jessica Steele, Olivia Perry, Amanda Williams, Jacob Perry, Jodi
Howard, Tyler Howard, Natalie Noble, Noelle Noble, Shyanne Everman; and his 14
great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10am Monday, October 11, 2021, at the Pleasant Knob
United Baptist Church with Bro. Daniel Perry and Bro. Dewayne Perry officiating. Burial
will follow in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm
Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Masonic Services will be held Sunday at 7:30pm at the Funeral Home.
