David J. Anderson, 77, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on November 12, 2011. Born January 19, 1934 in India, son to Arthur H. & Sara Isabel (Barnett) Anderson. Married Joan E.(Morrison) Anderson on August 25, 1956 in Bellerose, New York. David worked in child evangelism in New York from 1956-1961, and then served as a Missionary in Venezuela from 1961-1999. Survivors include his wife, Jean Anderson; sons David (Ruth), Daniel (Joan), Timothy (Karina), Steven (Linnea); brothers, Victor Anderson, Kenneth (Lois) Anderson; sister, Eunice (Aaron) Kolb; and nine grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at First Evangelical Free Church, 2223 N Mulford Road, Rockford. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Private Burial in Arlington Memorial Park. Arrangements made by Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 Mulford Road.
