EDWARD G. BARTLEY, JR.

Edward G. Bartley, Jr., age 63 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died May 12, 2011 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Graveside services were held Sunday May 15, 2011 at 4pm in the Methodist Cemetery with Rev. David Troxell officiating. THE FAMILY WILL RECIEVE FRIENDS AFTER 3PM SUNDAY MAY 15, 2011 AT THE CEMETERY. He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on September 14, 1947 the son of the late Edward G. Sr. and Thelma (Swain) Bartley. He was a painter and of the Baptist Faith. His parents, son Shannon Glen Bartley, and daughter Tammy Bartley precede him in death. Survivors include son Eddie D. Bartley and wife Nicole of Whitley City, Kentucky, brothers Bruce Bartley and wife Brenda of Whitley City, Kentucky and Tommy Bartley and wife Kathleen of Florida. Grandchildren Andy, Brandy, Josh, and Carlee, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
