ELMER GREGORY, JR.

Elmer Gregory, Jr., age 80 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died October 9, 2013 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.  Funeral services were held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell officiating.  Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.

He was born in Rattlesnake Ridge, Kentucky on July 9, 1933 the son of the late Elmer and Louise (Bell) Gregory.  He was a logger and member of the Hilltop Baptist Church.

His parents; brother, Lawrence Gregory; and sisters, Clovie Dobbs, Lexie Dobbs, and Vela Gregory precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Audrey (Tucker) Gregory of Whitley City, Kentucky; children, Elvrlie Strunk and husband, George of Stearns, Kentucky, Elmer Troxell and wife, Evelyn of Whitley City, Kentucky; Patsy Keith and Husband, Junior and Penny Phillips and husband, Eddie both of Stearns, Kentucky, and Denny Gregory and wife, Lee of Whitley City, Kentucky.  15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren also survive.
