Elsie Mae Taylor, age 58 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died October 25, 2013 in the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dow Goodin officiating. Burial was in the Taylor Cemetery.
She was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on September 17, 1955 the daughter of Cora Lee (Perkins) Perry and the late Leslie Dalton Perry. She was a homemaker.
Her father; son, Arnold Eugene Taylor; and grandson, Patrick Taylor; and brothers, Leslie Edward Perry and Lawrence Eugene Perry precede her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold Edward Taylor of Whitely City, Kentucky; mother, Cora Lee Perry of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sons, Jerry Lee Taylor of Winfield, Tennessee; daughter, Loucinda Marie Ball and husband, Andrew of Whitley City, Kentucky; and sisters, Glenna Watson and husband, Sherman of Whitley City, Kentucky, Wilma Tucker and husband, Steve, of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Sandra Messer and husband, Elmer of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Mary Hollars and husband, Alan of Whitley City, Kentucky, daughter in law, Bianca Taylor. 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
