ERSTLE "DUSTY" KEITH

Erstle “Dusty” Ray Keith, age 85, of Corbin Kentucky died Monday, November 6, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Yamacraw, Kentucky on April 11, 1932 the son of Roy and Martha Leona (McCullah) Keith.  Dusty had been a Leather Smith at his and Marie’s Keith’s Leather Shop. He was a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ, enjoyed playing and singing music, and had played the Sheriff in the gunfight scenes at Tombstone Junction.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Estes Keith and BJ Keith; and sister, Shelva “Jean” Brooks.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda Marie (Mason) Keith, of Corbin, Kentucky; sons, Jeff Keith of Mason, Ohio and Juan Keith of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky; daughter, Judy Smith of Carlisle, Ohio; brothers, ST Keith and wife, Irene of Florence, Kentucky, Hoyt Keith and wife, Mary Lou of Stanford, Kentucky, Ralph Keith and wife, Yvonne of Blanchester, Ohio, and Shirrel Keith and wife, Brenda of Louisville, Kentucky; sister, Carol Branscum of Whitley City, Kentucky; and 1 grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Goodin officiating. Burial to follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Thursday until time of service at the funeral home.
