Fannie Jean Shepherd

Fannie Jean Shepherd , age 74 years, widow of the late Donald Shepherd, departed from this life September 15, 2018 at her home in Somerset, Kentucky.  She was born March 22, 1944.

Fannie is survived by her sons, Jeff and wife Connie Shepherd of Whitley City, KY., Scott Shepherd of Somerset, KY., Chris and wife Lori Shepherd of Nicholasville, KY., daughter, Teresa and husband Larry Williams of Huntsville, TN., sister, Bonnie Dotson, Lexington, KY., grand-children, Jeff Shepherd, Joshua and wife Amelia Shepherd, Jonah Shepherd, Brittany and husband Robert McKissick, Steven Daugherty, Steven Williams, Kristen and husband Nick Anderson, and Kasey Williams, great grand-children, Akita Shepherd, Brentlee Shepherd, and Amelia Ross. She also has a special friend, Mary Baird.

In addition to her husband of 44 years, Fannie is preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Roxie Taylor Bryant, brothers, Willie Bryant, Travis Bryant, Lloyd Bryant, and Wolford Bryant, sisters, Evelyn Litton and Freda Kidwell.

Fannie was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Nicholasville, KY., She was a homemaker, who dearly loved her family and spending time with all her children, grand-children and great grand-children. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Rieber officiaitng. The family will receive friends after 11am Friday at the funeral home.
