Fay Tella Barnett

Fay Tella Barnett, age 71 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, died Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the Continued Care Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.

She was born in Parkers Lake, Kentucky, on April 17, 1947, the daughter of the late Smith Morris and Gladys Opal (Lynch) Strunk. Fay was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, quilting, puzzles, but especially her grandchildren.

Her parents; brothers, Chester Strunk and JT Strunk; and sisters, Wilma Taylor and Doris Roark precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Glen Barnett of Parkers Lake; son Timothy Smith Turner (Jennifer) of Lexington, Kentucky; daughters, Paula Rollins (Gene) of Parkers Lake, Vicky Jones (Mark) of Richmond, Kentucky, and Hope Plummer (Jamie) of Kalamazoo, Michigan; step-daughter, Rhonda Barnett (Debra) of London, Kentucky; brother, Gene Strunk(Barbara) of Marshes Siding, Kentucky; sister, Glenna Hester of Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 5pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Sewell officiating. The family will receive friends after 3pm Saturday at the funeral home.
