Freda K Strunk

Freda K. Strunk, age 74 years, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.

She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on April 30, 1945 the daughter of Clell H. and Roxie (Chitwood) Keith. Freda had worked as a machine operator in the factory, was a member of the Marshes Siding Missionary Baptist Church. She loved flea marketing and her family.

Her parents; brothers, Edward Keith, Kerns Keith, Kenneth Keith, Freeman Keith, and Timothy Eugene Keith; and sisters, Delorse Sellers, Lois Marler, Clara Cassada, and Betty Margara precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Jay Wendell Strunk; special niece, Ruby Taylor and husband, Lester of Whitley City; special step-daughter, Bridgett New and husband, Steve of Whitley City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton King and Bro. Lonnie Poynter officiating. Burial will follow in the Flat Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Friday, September 13, 2019 at the funeral home.
