GEORGE CLAYTON RIDNER

Mr. George Clayton Ridner, age 62, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, October 30, 2015, in Parkers Lake.

Born in Parkers Lake, Kentucky, on January 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Earl Ridner and Elizabeth (Hicks) Ridner.  He is preceded in death by his father Earl Ridner, his mother Elizabeth Ridner, his wife Shirley (Campbell) Ridner, a son Jessie James Ridner, and a brother, James “Red” Ridner.

Surviving family include a son George Clayton Ridner, Jr. of Parkers Lake, two daughters: Wynonna Belinda Mae Ridner Rose of Parkers Lake and Gladys Marie Perry (husband Robert "Robbie") of Parkers Lake, four brothers: Clinton “Brown” Ridner of Parkers Lake, Clifton Ridner of Wiborg, Manuel “Coo” Ridner of Parkers Lake and Doyle Ray Ridner of Parkers Lake, sisters: Gladys Dean Head of Parkers Lake, Shirley Agabright of Parkers Lake, Zonia Campbell of Whitley City, Dora Stanton of Whitley City, Mary “Mooge” Rollins of Whitley City, Terry Gale Jones of Parkers Lake, Donna Sue Ridner of Parkers Lake and Pauline Caudwell Craig of London, Kentucky.

He had seven grandchildren: Holly Strunk, Harley Rose, Rowdy Rose, Oliver Perry, Jesse Perry, Jessica Morgan and Emily Ridner, and four great-grandchildren: Daylan Smith, Hunter Strunk, Kylin Strunk and Hagen Rose.

Funeral services:  11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015,

    at Pleasant Knob Church in Parkers Lake, Kentucky

Burial at  Rock Branch Cemetery at Parkers Lake

Visitation:  Sunday, November 1, 2015, at the Pleasant Knot Church

McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
