Geraldine Maddie Lovell

Geraldine Maddie Lovell departed from this life on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, being 73 years, 9 months, and 24 days old. She was born in Pineville, Kentucky, on July 17, 1941, daughter of the late Fred and Lizzy (Cox) Engle.

She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Fowler Free Will Baptist Church. She loved going to Church, traveling, planting flowers, and most of all she loved her family.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years Sillus Edward Lovell, brothers; Bill Engle, Dean Engle, sister; Debbie Slaughter.

Surviving family includes; son; Aaron Lovell, of Whitley City, Kentucky, daughters; Felecia Thompson and husband Rick of Walton, Kentucky, Kimberly Thacker and husband Rick of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, sister; Joyce Whitt and husband Bob of Cincinnati, Ohio, thirteen grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 1:00 in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Rufus Hughes Officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue John Cemetery. McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
