Ginger Lee Wallen

Ginger Lee Wallen, age 62 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on August 3, 1961 the daughter of Garland and Clara (Jones) Burke.   Ginger had worked as a teacher’s aide for the McCreary County School System and attended the East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God. Playing Bingo, magnet fishing, camping, and watching wildlife were her favorite past times.

Her parents; husband, Leroy Wallen; brothers, Michale Burke and Garland Burke, Jr; and a sister, Tammy Payne precede her in death.

Survivors include her son, Mikel Joe Wallen (Danielle) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brother, Timmy Joe Burke of Stearns, Kentucky; best friends, Denisa and Jim Losey and Ariel and Jordan Stevens and Dusty and Whitney Losey; surrogate grandchildren, Madsion, Nate, Jojo Losey, Kyndall, Haylee, Miley Bowling; and many special family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2pm Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Angel Cemetery with Bro. Dustin Losey officiating.
