Gloria Chaffin

Gloria Chaffin, age 86, of Canton passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. William McClanahan officiating. Interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Mrs. Chaffin was a homemaker and caregiver. She loved being a grandmother and cooking for those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marion Edward Cook; second husband, Floyd Chaffin; and two sons, Eddie Cook and Johnny Cook.

 Gloria is survived by her two daughters, Peggy Hendrix and Linda Cook; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister; and one beloved daughter-in-law.

 Serving as pallbearers are Dan Sawyer, Paul Sziber, Jason Ryan, Aaron Miller, Danny Dwyer and Mark Bell.
