Howard Vanover, age 82 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, died August 18, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral Services were held Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at The McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dow Goodin officiating. Burial was in the Solomon Cemetery.  

He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on March 25, 1932 the son of the late Alvin Noah and Effie Ethel (Bryant) Vanover. He was a construction worker.

His parents; his wife; Opal (Clark) Vanover, Daughter; Helen Perry, Brothers; Herman Vanover, Alvin Jr. Vanover, Leo Vanover, Grandchild; Elizabeth Perry precede him in death.

Survivors include son; James Vanover, Howard and Pat Vanover, David and Jill Vanover, Daughter; Sheila Vanover, Brother; Everett Vanover, Sister; Marie Hamilton, Son In Law; Gary Perry, Grandchildren; Gary and Carrie Perry, Lance and Tamara Vanover, Terry Perry, Great grandchildren; Preston Shoopman, Dylan Perry, Trevor Perry, Taylor Perry, Rusty Perry, Marissa Perry, Lance Jr. Vanover, Jesse Vanover, Erin Hindman, Great, great grandchildren; Collin Shoopman, Hope Coe, Tailor Coe, Davin Jackson, Steven McCoy.
