Ivan Wade Mason

Ivan Wade Mason, age 63 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at the Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

 He was born in Monticello, Kentucky on June 1, 1960 the son of Everett and Bonnie (Denny) Mason. Wade had worked as a radio announcer and attended the Good Shepherd Catholic Chapel.  He was in the Wolf Pack and a diehard Cubs fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents Everett and Bonnie Mason; and a brother, James Kevin Mason.

Funeral services will be held 12pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Father Carlos Martinez officiating. The family will receive friends after 10am Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:30pm Tuesday at the Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the McCreary Christian Care Center.
