James Calvin Warman

James Calvin Warman, age 80 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky departed this life on November 15, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Beaver Creek, Kentucky on September 28, 1937 the son of William H. and Dora (Swain) Warman.  James had worked in construction and was a member of the Eagle Creek Baptist Church where he had formerly served as a deacon.  He was a family man, that loved fishing, hunting, ginseng hunting, and bear stories.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John Ray Warman and Glenn Warman.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Perry) Warman; children, Clifford Warman and wife, Kim of Parkers Lake, Kim Hampton and husband, Tim of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, and Judy Corder and husband, George of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; brother, Tony Warman of Stearns, Kentucky; sister, Wilma Clark and husband, Arthur of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jessica Wilder and husband, Bill, Joshua Hampton and wife, Tiffany, George Corder and wife, Cathy, Ashley Robinson and husband, Brandon, Andrea Spradlin and husband, Christopher, and Phillip Hampton and wife, Felicia; great grandchildren, Gracie Jo, Chase, Jaxon, Abby, Kaylee, Taylor, Parker, Jamison, Greenlee, Melanie, Sundae-Grace, John-Luke, and Ashton.  He is also survived by lots of family, friends, and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 11am in the Eagle Creek United Baptist Church with Bro. Rusty Spradlin and Bro. Doug Patrick officiating. Burial to follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5:30pm Friday at the church.

McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
