Janice Elaine Moore

Janice Elaine Moore, age 83 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Saturday, September 9, 2023 at her home.

She was born September 10, 1939 the daughter of Junior and Virginia (Malm) Simpson. Janice had worked as a Registered Nurse, she also enjoyed being with family, taking care of her dog, Toby, Christmas and all the Holidays, and shopping.

Her parents; son, Richard Moore; and daughter, Amy Buck precede her in death.

Survivors includes her grandchildren, Megan King (Jeremy) of Pine Knot; Stephanie Ferguson (Daniel) of Gastonia North Carolina, and Payton Buck of Lason, South Carolina; great grandchildren, Makenna King, Alexia King, Jeremy King II, Charlotte Rabon, and Rylee Rabon.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 7pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends after 5:30pm Friday.
