Jean Bryant

Jean Bryant, age 81 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Friday, August 30, 2019 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on January 12, 1938 the daughter of the late Luther and Emma Marie Stephens Bryant. Jean had worked as a supervisor of housekeeping at the Dupont Lodge at Cumberland Falls.  She was a member of Sandhill United Baptist Church. In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Gillenwater., brothers; Gilbert Bryant, Ellis Bryant, Richard Bryant and Alonzo Bryant; and sisters; Norma Sauls, Mary Ann Meadows, Della Haden and infant Ramadean Bryant.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Kay and husband Earl Fletcher and Deborah Sue Kellam both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Denise and husband Roy Johnson of Lexington, Kentucky, sons; Danny Hatfield of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sherril Bolin of Covington, Kentucky, sister; Mazie Barnett Justus of Whitley City, Kentucky, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.

Jean loved attending church, but above all, she loved her family.

Visitation will be Friday evening at 6:00 pm with funeral services in McCreary County Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery.
