Jeraldean Hicks

Oshie Jeraldean Hicks, age 75 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the Baptist Health Corbin.

She was born in Bee Rock, Kentucky on August 28, 1947 the daughter of Jim and Audell (Vanover) Hicks. Jeraldean was a retired cook from Cumberland Falls State Park and a member of Indian Creek United Baptist Church.  She enjoyed being with people and laughing especially with her family, church family, and work family.

Her parents; brothers, James Leon Hicks, James Leonard Hicks, and Donald Lee Hicks; sisters, Maude Alma Hicks and Norma Jean Hicks; and nephew, Jimmy Wilson precede her in death.

Survivors include her brother, Elmer Hicks and wife, Elva of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sister Ada Wiladean Hicks of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; nieces and nephew, Chester Hicks (Frannie), Rebecca Wilson, Aliesha Wilson, and Deisare Wilson

Funeral services will be held 2pm Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Indian Creek United Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Perry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Higginbotham Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Funeral Home, and after 1pm Tuesday at the Church.
