Jerry Junior Maxwell, age 67 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died June 18, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born in Worley Hilltop, Kentucky, on September 15, 1951 the son of Lander Perry and Vina Lee (Davis) Maxwell. Jerry had worked as a coal miner and in construction. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding through the country, listening to music, and playing the guitar.
His parents; brother, Dillard Henry Maxwell; and sisters, Jo Ann Maxwell, Nancy Ann Maxwell, and Della D. Duncan precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Goff) Maxwell; sons, Jerry Wilson of Whitley City and Johnny Perry of Stearns; daughters, Jennifer Clark and husband, Chan and Vina Jo Pelow and husband, James all of Stearns; brothers, Lander Perry Maxwell, Jr. and Virgil Lee Maxwell both of Cincinnati; sisters, Katherine Maxwell of Stearns, Rubie Lee Maxwell of Tennessee; and Beulah Maxwell of Whitley City; grandchildren, Eric Pelow (Misty), Nathaniel Clark (Molly), Zachary Clark (Abigail), Osha Clark, Aleah Pelow, Olivia Perry, Isaiah Perry, and Lekea Crabtree (Will); and 1 great grandchild on the way as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1pm, June 21, 2019 at the Wilson-Maxwell Cemetery.
