Jimmie Joel Worley

Jimmie Joel Worley departed from this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his home in Jones Hallow, KY, being 76 years, 5 months and 11 days old. He was born in Ritner, KY, on September 5, 1939 to the late Dewey Loyd and Zula (Jones) Worley.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers: Noel Dean Worley and Bobby Worley, one sister: Cathy Worley.

Surviving family includes: His loving wife Irene (Jones) Worley whom were married March 12, 1966, two sisters: Myrtle Abbot of Muncie, Indiana, and Josephine (Jim) Niswondger of Troy, Ohio, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmie was a welder for Harrison Steel in Indiana, and a Vietnam Veteran. He accepted Christ into his life many years ago and is a member of the Rock Springs United Baptist Church. In his free time he enjoyed growing a garden and spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his wife, friends, and family.

Funeral Services: Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Rock Springs United Baptist Church with Bro. Estle Jones and Bro. Stephen Jones officiating.

Visitation: Friday, February 19, 2016 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at the church.

Burial: Rock Springs Cemetery
