Jody Lee Phillips

Jody Lee Phillips, age 56 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Monday, June 15, 2026 at his home.

He was born in Decatur, Indiana on April 16, 1970 the son of the late Estle Lee and Diana Kaye (Wolf) Phillips. Jody was a a true caretaker and member of the Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, looking for ginseng, and listening to music.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Tonya Jones.

Survivors include his sister, Patricia Tapley and husband, Tommy of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brother, Estle Lee Phillips, Jr. of Somerset, Kentucky; step-children, Travis Roberts and Rachel Roberts; and nieces and nephews, Samantha, Stacy, Elizabeth, Thaddaeus, Isaac, Seth, Anna, Daniel, Virginia, Ty, and Cody.

Funeral services will be held 4pm Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Tapley officiating. Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2pm Friday at the Church.
