Joe B Worley

Joe B. Worley, age78 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died, Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in the Flat Rock Community of McCreary County, Kentucky on January 6, 1946 the son of the late Garrett C. and Pearlie (Phillips) Worley. Joe was retired form the United States Army and was a member of the Beulah Heights Church of God. Fishing, camping, and being outdoors in any way were his favorites things to do.

His parents; a son, Joe Bobby Worley, Jr.; brother, Clarence R. Worley; and sisters, Alice Faye Haase, Glenna Worley, and Betty Jo Vera Worley precede him in death.

Survivors include his son, Matthew R. Worley of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughter, Sandy Tucker(Warren) of Stearns, Kentucky; brother, Gary Summers of West Virginia; sister, Wanda Jordan of Olive Hurst, California; grandchildren, Jeremy and Destiny Worley, Joshua and Sherry Beaty, Johnathan Perry, and Cheyenne Perry; and great grandchildren, Zeke Worley, Luke Worley, Ava Worley, Lily Perry, and Korra Beaty.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, May 10, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper Cal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Friday at the Funeral Home.
