Joey Edward Vanover

Joey Edward Vanover, age 62 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky, died April 10, 2023 at his home.

He was born October 5, 1960 the son of Lloyd and Virginia (Huddleston) Vanover. Joey had worked in construction, enjoyed anything Native American, ginsenging, and being outdoors.

His parents; wife, Letha (Perry) Vanover; brothers, Homer Vanover, Benjamin Vanover, and Dewayne Vanover; and sisters, Cora Campbell, Betty Barnett, Mae Vanover, and Sharon Vanover precede him in death.

Survivors include his son, Dakota Vanover (Amber) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; daughter, Martikka Castillo of Russell Springs, Kentucky; brother, James Vanover of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sister, Kay Singleton of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; grandchildren, Korbyn Vanover and Landon Coburn; special friends, Roscoe and Debbie Meadows; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family services will be held at his home, 90 Hoot Owl Holler Rd, Whitley City, Kentucky Monday evening with burial to follow in the Meadows Cemetery Tuesday.
