Jordan Gerald New

Jordan Gerald New, age 23 years, one month and 25 days, passed away at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on May 10, 1993; he is the son of Jeffrey and Diana (Crabtree) New.  Besides his parents, he is survived by his Fiancé: Brooklyn Braden, a special niece: Kyleigh Braden, a sister: Jessica (Jeffrey) Shoopman and their son, Easton Blayz, Grandparents: Walter D. and Marilyn Sue Crabtree and Ralph Gerald and Shirley Jean New, Uncles:  Craig (Naomi) New, Matthew (Crystal) Crabtree and their children Cassie and Riley. Many other relatives and numerous friends.

He was student at Somerset Community College.  Jordan loved the Lord and was a member of Marsh Creek Baptist Church. 

Jordan enjoyed reading, he was a politically informed supporter of Donald Trump in his Presidential campaign.  He loved family game night, camping, umpiring for little league, basketball and his dog Max. 

Funeral services: Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Knot Funeral Home Chapel

 Visitation: 12:00 noon until time of services at Pine Knot Funeral Home.

Burial: Angel Cemetery
