Julie Gibson

Julie Gibson, age 57 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, beloved wife of Jeffrey Gibson, passed away at Jean Waddle Care Center on June 6, 2026.

She was born on September 19, 1968 in Oneida, Tennessee to Ruth Susan Stephens Clark and the late Kenneth Clark. Julie enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her husband and family. Julie was a member of Whitley City Church of God. She was a cook for the McCreary County School System.

Survivors include her mother, Ruth Susan Clark of Stearns, KY.; sons, Lenny Lee and Jessie Joe Gibson both of Pine Knot, Kentucky; step-son, Michael J. Gibson who is stationed in Germany; brother, Tronnie Clark and wife Heather of Stearns, Ky.; and sisters, Fonda and Velvet Clark both of Stearns, KY

Her father, Kenneth Clark, preceded her in death.

Funeral service for Julie Gibson will be held in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM until time for funeral service. Brother Bruce Dixon will be officiating and burial will follow in Sherd Dobbs Cemetery.
