Kinzella Vanover

Kinzella Vanover age 86 years, of the Worley Hilltop Community died Monday, November 7, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Day Ridge, Kentucky on May 4, 1936 the daughter of Russell and Minnie (Waters) Keith. Kinzella had worked in the Shirt Factory, but best known for being the caregiver for everyone around her especially, children of whom many called her Granny. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, fishing, and going to the beach.

Her parents; husband, Goman Vanover; sons, Goman Dwayne Vanover, and David “Red” Russell Vanover; brothers, Willard Keith Austin Keith, D.W. Keith, Darrell Keith, and Charles Keith; and sisters, Marcella Ross and Madge Hackler Helton precede her in death.

Survivors include her sons, James Robert Vanover and Dewey Allen “Jabo” Vanover both of Stearns, Kentucky; daughters, Rita Gail Coffey of Whitley City, Kentucky and  Madge Deloris Vanover of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Stephanie New (James), Tiffany Summers (Richard), Angelia Creekmore (Bert), Jamie King (Donnie), and Wendy Pierce (Charles); great grandchildren, Tristan New, Ethan New, Dalton Vanover, Courtney Taylor, Lucas King, Rayley King, Marleigh King, Rylan Creekmore, Jadyn Privett, and Kolten Summers; great-great grandchildren, Zoiee Jo King-Threet and Xadrionna Taylor; and numerous bonus grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, November 11, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 6pm Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
