Lena " Leva" Coffey

Ms. Lena “Leva” (Dobbs) Coffey, of Stearns, Kentucky, departed this life at the Springfield Health and Rehab Center, in Springfield, Kentucky, on December 4, 2014 being 91 years, 6 months, and 22 days old. She was born in Rattlesnake Ridge, Kentucky, on May 12, 1923 daughter of the late Edger and Florida Dobbs.

Lena was a member of the Gibson Way Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; George Lawrence Coffey, Brother; Howard Dobbs, daughter; Sheila May Coffey.  

Survived by her four sons; Robert and Allen Coffey, both of Stearns, Kentucky, Billy J. Coffey, of Sandhill, and Tommy Coffey of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Daughter; Lozina Swangin, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, five grandchildren; Arizona and Virginia Swangin, Delford Smith, step children; Jennifer Nicole, April King, Tonya Lynn Braden, Jessica Jones, great grandchildren; Mason Edward Lee, Maeleigh Swangin, Jordan, Stormy Lee Smith.

Funeral Services for Ms. Coffey will be conducted on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with Ms. Coffey’s Funeral Arrangements.
