Linda Ann Babb

Linda Ann (Gibson) Babb, age 58 years, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at her home in Strunk, Kentucky.

Linda was born in Lafollette, Tennessee the daughter of the late Charlie and Clara Young Gibson.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Shawn Michael Ball, brothers: Willie Gibson, Harold Gibson, Willard Gibson, and Donnie Gibson.

Surviving family include the father of her son,  Michael Wayne Ball, son: Christopher Wayne Ball of Strunk, KY., brothers: Howard Gibson and wife Clayetta of Eubank, KY, Damon and wife Wanda Gibson of Whitley City, KY, Hershel Gibson of Pine Knot, KY and Lonnie and wife Beth Gibson of Pine Knot, KY, sisters: Charlene and husband Mike Pushalla of Cynthiana, KY, Lois and husband George Mikesell of Muncie, IN, Vergie Frazier of ine Knot, KY, Juanita Lacky of Jamestown, KY, Mildred and husband Jack Davis of Beaver Dam, KY, Nola and husband Phil Hamilton of Jamestown, KY, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed dancing and music, all things outdoors or related to nature, including studying and researching Native American heritage.  Linda was the former McCreary County Solid Waste Coordinator and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 beginning at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with Brother Bruce Dixon officiating.

McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Linda Babb.
