Linda Rose

Linda Rose, age 53 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Fostoria, Ohio on May 29, 1970 the daughter of Denton Goodin and Particia (Hohman) Perry. Linda had worked as a machine operator for JDS Technologies and was a member of the Pleasant Knob United Baptist Church. She was a member of the North McCreary Fire Department Auxiliary and enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren.

Her parents; sisters, Betty, Shirley, Nancy, Lori; and mother and father-in-law, Thenal and Euel Rose precede her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Lester Rose of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sons, Micheal Rose (Heather) and Christopher Rose (Desiree) both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; daughters, Stephanie and Sarah Yancey both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; grandchildren, Ava, Audrey, Alijah, Liam and Lincoln; stepfather, John Perry of Fostoria, Ohio;  3 sisters; 4 brothers; and numerous nieces nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Perry and Bro. Daniel Perry officiating. Burial to follow in the Rose Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 6pm Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Funeral Home.
