Louise Duncan

August 15, 1944 — July 29, 2018

Louise Duncan, age 73, of Stearns, Kentucky, wife of the late Sylvester Duncan, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Hospital in Somerset.  She was born in Strunk, Kentucky, on August 15, 1944. 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her mother and father, Howard Eugene and Tellina Davis Spradlin, an infant daughter, Patricia Marie Duncan, and two sisters, Virginia Bryant and Anna Bryant.

She will be sadly missed by her surviving family which includes her son Rickie and his wife Nikie Duncan of Stearns, Kentucky, daughter, Rita Gail Mason, also of Stearns, brothers, Hural and wife Julie Spradlin, and Robert and wife Mary Spradlin all of Strunk, Kentucky, sister, Sue and husband Darrell Stephens of Columbus, Indiana, grandchildren, Latosha and husband Kenneth Runyon, Adam and wife Heather Duncan, Chelsey Jones, Conley Jones, BriAnna and husband Braxton Kidd, and Kelyn Mason, great-grandchildren, Anthony Bryant, Payton King, Lillian Duncan, Hazel Duncan and Lennox Kidd.

Louise attended Redemption Way Church, she loved her grandbabies, cooking and feeding her family.  Louise babysat for many children in the community and they all loved her.

Funeral services will be held at the Redemption Way Church located on Tunnel Ridge Road in Stearns at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018, with  Bro. Jeff Bryant and Bro. Clay Cook officiating.  Burial will follow at the Old Homeplace Cemetery in Stearns.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. at the Church.   

McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
